Annaberg Sugar Plantation Ruins
Windmill at the Annaberg Sugar Plantation Ruins on the north shore of St. John in the US Virgin Islands. An eighteenth century plantation that produced sugar, molasses, and rum, the planation consisted of about 518 acres of steep land, with the main buildings perched on a small headland near Maho Bay and overlooking Mary Point.
