Seraphim painting in Hagia Sophia
Seraphim rediscovered in 2010 as renovation removed the covering decoration. Originally built as a Christian cathedral, then converted to a Muslim mosque, and now a museum, the Aya Sophya is one of the oldest and grandest buildings in Istanbul.
