Dining Room at Ferme du Caillou Waterloo
The dining room at the farmhouse known as Ferme du Caillou. Next to the field where the Battle of Waterloo took place in 1815, the farmhouse is famous as the place where Napoleon spent the night before the battle. It is now a museum. It was in this room that Napoleon ate his breakfast on the morning of the battle. On the three tables joined together in the center of the room, he laid out maps of the battlefield and passed on his battle orders to his General Staff crowded into the room.
