Whale Tail Sculpture Constructed of Rope in SFO
A sculpture of a whale tail constructed from rope by artist Ethan Estess on display in a gallery of reclaimed materials in Terminal 3 of San Francisco International Airport. Passengers walk by, and on each side of the frame are moving walkways. The items are part of an exhibit titled the Art of Recology: The Artist in Residence Program 1990-2013 that makes use of reclaimed and recycled materials.
