Sunrise over rocky headland at 1770, Queensland, Australia
View of the Pacific Ocean from Bustard Bay of the town of 1770. It was here that Captain James Cook anchored The Endeavor, on 24 May 1770, for his first landing in what would become the Australian state of Queensland. Botanist Joseph Banks came ashore here and collected 33 species of plants from the area.
