Strahov Monastery
An abbey founded in 1149 A.D., Strahov Monastery sits on a hill near Prague Castle overlooking the city and the Vltava. It is especially well known for its two ornately decorated library halls, the Theological Hall (late-17th century) and the Philosophical Hall (late-18th century).
